Text: Proverbs 11:24–25

Exhortation:

One of the surprising ways of God is that His economy is different from the world’s economy. Human wisdom says that the way to have more is to hold tightly to everything you possess. But God’s Word declares, “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty” (Proverbs 11:24). In God’s Kingdom, generosity is not a loss—it is a pathway to increase.

This principle goes beyond money. We can scatter kindness, encouragement, forgiveness, time, prayers, and love, and God has a way of returning what is sown in His own perfect measure. “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” (Proverbs 11:25). When we become channels of blessing, God ensures that the channel never runs dry.

Live with an open hand rather than a clenched fist. Give as the Holy Spirit leads, help those in need, and trust God as your Source rather than your possessions. The more you reflect God’s generous nature, the more you position yourself to experience His abundant provision.

Prayer Nugget: Father, deliver me from the fear of lack and give me a generous heart. Make me a channel of blessing to others, and let Your abundant provision continually flow through my life, in Jesus’ name.
