Walking in Zoe

Date : Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026

Text : Mark 16:17–18

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Zoe is not just received—it must be expressed through power and authority. Jesus declared that these signs shall follow them that believe: in His name they shall cast out devils, speak with new tongues, and lay hands on the sick. The God-kind of life within you is meant to manifest outwardly, not remain hidden. Zoe is a living, active force.

When you walk in Zoe, you rise above the limitations of the flesh and operate in divine authority. The life of God in you empowers you to confront darkness, overcome challenges, and demonstrate the reality of God’s kingdom. As Scripture declares, the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power (1 Corinthians 4:20).

This life becomes evident in your daily walk—your words carry authority, your actions reflect dominion, and your presence brings transformation. Zoe produces boldness, righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. It is the evidence that God is at work in and through you (Romans 14:17).

Therefore, do not live as an ordinary person. Step out in faith and express the life of God within you. As you walk in Zoe, signs will follow, lives will be impacted, and God will be glorified through you. Let your life become a visible demonstration of divine power.

Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to walk daily in the power of Zoe; let Your life in me be evident through signs, authority, and transformation, in Jesus’ name.

Zoe – Raised and Seated

Date : Tuesday, 21st April, 2026

Text : Ephesians 2:6

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Zoe is not just the life we receive—it is the life that lifts us. Scripture declares that God has raised us up together with Christ and made us sit together in heavenly places. This is the reality of the God-kind of life: it changes not only your nature but your spiritual position.

To be raised with Christ means you now operate in resurrection life. The same power that brought Jesus out of the grave is at work in you. Zoe is the force that lifts you above sin, fear, and defeat, enabling you to live a victorious life daily.

Being seated in heavenly places speaks of authority and rest. It means you are no longer struggling for victory but living from victory. Zoe positions you above circumstances, giving you a higher perspective and divine advantage in every situation.

Therefore, live with this consciousness daily. You are not ordinary—you carry divine life and occupy a heavenly position in Christ. Let this reality shape your thoughts, your actions, and your confidence as you walk in the fullness of Zoe.

Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to live with the consciousness of Zoe; teach me to walk in my authority and position in Christ, far above every limitation, in Jesus’ name.

Come and Drink

Date : Sunday, 19th April, 2026

Text : John 4:1–19

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

In today’s text, Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well that there is a water she could drink that would make her thirst no more. She had been searching for satisfaction in the wrong places, moving from one relationship to another, hoping to fill the emptiness within. Despite five marriages and another relationship, her soul remained thirsty until she encountered Christ.

Many people today are on the same journey—seeking fulfillment in money, pleasure, more and more education, relationships, politics, big titles, and other worldly pursuits. Yet, no matter how much they acquire, there remains a void that nothing earthly can fill. The thirst of the soul cannot be satisfied by material things; it requires a spiritual solution.

Jesus extends the same invitation today: if anyone thirsts, let him come and drink. Those who believe in Him will experience rivers of living water flowing from within, speaking of the Holy Spirit who alone satisfies the deepest longings of the heart (John 7:37–39). True fulfillment is not found in things but in a relationship with God.

When you seek God first, every other thing finds its rightful place. As Scripture declares, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). The water of life is available—come and drink, and your soul will be truly satisfied.

Prayer Nugget : Father, I come to you, the source of living water; fill every emptiness in my life and satisfy my soul with your Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Lessons from the Gibeonites

Date : Saturday, 18th April, 2026

Text : 2 Samuel 21:1-9

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

A whole nation suffered from three years of famine because of injustice done to a group of people who seemed powerless. How could this be? Though the Gibeonites were treated as slaves, God did not overlook their pain. He rose to defend them, and Israel, under King David, was compelled to address the injustice done during Saul’s reign.

This reveals a profound truth: no one is truly powerless when God is their defender. The Gibeonites had no army, no political influence, yet heaven took up their case. Their silent suffering spoke loudly before God, and justice was eventually enforced, even at a great national cost.

This is a serious warning to the rich and powerful. The way we treat domestic workers, subordinates, and the less privileged matters greatly before God. Oppression, exploitation, and injustice may go unnoticed by men, but they never escape divine attention. God is deeply concerned about how the vulnerable are treated.

Scripture cautions us not to remove ancient boundaries or exploit the fatherless, for their Redeemer is mighty and will plead their cause (Proverbs 23:10–11). Likewise, the cries of unpaid workers and the oppressed rise to God, and He responds with righteous judgment (James 5:1–6). Let us live with justice, compassion, and the fear of God.

Action Nugget : Examine your relationships and dealings with others, especially those under your authority. Make amends where necessary and commit to treating everyone with fairness, dignity, and godly compassion.

E- Expression

Date : Friday, 17th April, 2026

Text : Psalm 107:22

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Today is the ninth and final day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the last letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is E – Expression. Gratitude is incomplete until it is expressed. What you do not express, you do not fully experience. Thanksgiving must be voiced, demonstrated, and lived daily.

Expression of gratitude goes beyond silent acknowledgment; it is a deliberate act of praise, worship, and thanksgiving. The psalmist calls us to offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare His works with rejoicing. Scripture also reminds us to offer the sacrifice of praise continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name (Hebrews 13:15).

A heart full of gratitude will naturally overflow in expression. Whether through words, actions, giving, or service, expressing thanks keeps your heart aligned with God. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6), for praise is the natural language of a grateful heart.

Make it a daily habit to express your gratitude openly. Sing His praises, speak of His goodness, and live a life that reflects thanksgiving. As you do, your joy will be full, and your life will continually radiate the beauty of a grateful and fulfilled heart.

Prayer Nugget : Father, teach me to express my gratitude sincerely and consistently; let my life be a continuous offering of praise and thanksgiving unto you, in Jesus’ name.

D- Dependence

Date : Thursday, 16th April, 2026

Text : Proverbs 3:5

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Today is the eighth day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the eighth letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is D – Dependence. True gratitude flows from a heart that fully depends on God. When you recognize that all you have comes from Him, thanksgiving becomes your natural response.

Dependence on God means trusting Him as your source, sustainer, and provider. It is acknowledging that your strength, wisdom, and success are not self-made but God-given. When you depend on God, pride fades and humility grows, making room for genuine gratitude.

Many struggle with gratitude because they rely too much on their own ability. But a dependent heart sees God in every outcome and gives Him the glory. Dependence shifts your focus from self to God and reminds you that without Him, you can do nothing.

Choose to rely on God in all things—big or small. As you grow in dependence, your heart will overflow with thanksgiving, knowing that He is faithful to guide, provide, and sustain you at all times.

Prayer Nugget : Father, teach me to depend wholly on You; help me to trust You as my source in all things and let my life continually reflect gratitude for Your provision, in Jesus’ name.

U- Understanding

Date : Wednesday, 15th April, 2026

Text : Psalm 111:10

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Today is the seventh day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the seventh letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is U – Understanding. Gratitude deepens when we gain spiritual understanding of God’s ways and dealings. When you understand God, you will thank Him even when you do not fully comprehend your situation.

Understanding gives meaning to experiences that might otherwise seem confusing. It helps you see that every season—good or challenging—is part of God’s divine plan. With understanding, you realize that God is intentional, and nothing in your life is wasted.

A heart without understanding easily complains, but a heart with understanding remains grateful. When you see beyond the physical and discern God’s hand at work, your perspective changes. You begin to appreciate not just the blessings, but also the process that produces them.

Seek understanding daily through God’s Word and by walking closely with Him. As your understanding grows, so will your gratitude. You will find yourself thanking God not only for what He has done, but also for what He is doing behind the scenes.

Prayer Nugget : Father, grant me understanding in all things; help me to see Your hand in every situation and to remain grateful regardless of circumstances, in Jesus’ name.

T- Testimony

Date : Tuesday, 14th April, 2026

Text : Psalm 66:16

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Today is the sixth day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the sixth letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is T – Testimony. A grateful heart is strengthened by remembrance and expressed through testimony. Testimony is the spoken evidence of God’s faithfulness in your life.

The psalmist in today’s text declares, “Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16. Every testimony is a victory declared over past battles. When you testify, you are reminding yourself and others that God is faithful and still works wonders. Silence can weaken gratitude, but testimony strengthens faith and builds confidence in God’s power.

Testimony is not only for celebration but also for multiplication. What you declare gratefully, God can repeat and increase. Your testimony today is a seed for tomorrow’s miracles. When you share what God has done, you are activating faith in your future.

Refuse to be silent about God’s goodness. Speak it, declare it, and share it boldly. Let your life be a continuous reflection of divine help and mercy, so that others may see and glorify God through your story.

Prayer Nugget : Father, fill my mouth with testimonies; let my life continually reflect Your goodness so that I will never cease to give You praise, in Jesus’ name.

I- Intentional Living

Date : Monday, 13th April, 2026

Text : Ephesians 5:15–16

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Today is the fifth day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the fifth letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is I – Intentional Living. Gratitude does not happen by chance; it is cultivated through deliberate and conscious living. What you do intentionally will grow consistently.

Intentional living means choosing gratitude daily, regardless of circumstances. It is waking up with a decision to see God’s goodness, speak thanksgiving, and act with awareness of His presence. A careless life easily slips into complaints, but a deliberate life overflows with praise (Colossians 3:17).

When you live intentionally, you guard your heart and direct your thoughts toward what is true and worthy of praise. You refuse to be controlled by negativity and instead align your life with God’s Word. Gratitude becomes your response, not because everything is perfect, but because God is faithful.

Make a conscious decision today to live with purpose. Let your words, thoughts, and actions reflect a heart of thanksgiving. As you practice intentional gratitude, you will experience deeper joy, stronger faith, and a more meaningful walk with God.

Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to live intentionally in gratitude; guide my thoughts, words, and actions so that my life continually reflects thanksgiving to you, in Jesus’ name.
