Exhortation:

The danger begins when a person becomes overly confident in their own judgment. Pride subtly whispers, “I know what I’m doing,” even when God has already spoken otherwise. This is how many walk into avoidable troubles—financial mistakes, broken relationships, and spiritual decline—not because God was silent, but because His voice was ignored, contrary to the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5–6.

The Apostle Paul declares that “the foolishness of God is wiser than men,” emphasizing that even what may seem unreasonable in God’s instruction carries wisdom far beyond human calculation (1 Corinthians 1:25). Obedience may not always feel convenient, but it is always safe and leads to preservation.

God has made His wisdom available to all who seek it, for James 1:5 assures us that He gives wisdom generously. He also promises in Psalm 32:8 to instruct and teach us in the way we should go. This reveals that surrendering to God is not loss, but access to divine direction.

Beloved, safety in life is not found in intelligence, experience, or strategy alone—it is found in submission to God. Those who humble themselves under His authority will be spared unnecessary battles and avoidable pain, walking instead in the peace and direction that only God can give.

Prayer Nugget: Father, teach me to surrender fully and follow Your direction even when I do not understand.
