Exhortation :
Righteousness is a covenant requirement for long life. The Bible asks who desires life and many days, and it answers by pointing to righteous living. A life aligned with God’s standards brings preservation and peace.
Sin and recklessness often shorten life, but righteousness secures it. When you live right, you remain under God’s covering and protection. The righteousness of the upright delivers them (Proverbs 11:6).
Righteous living influences your speech, actions, and choices. It guards your heart and keeps you from destructive paths. In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death (Proverbs 12:28).
Choose righteousness daily in every situation you face. Let your life reflect God’s standards in all things. As you walk in righteousness, you fulfill the covenant of long life.
Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to live righteously; guide my steps in Your truth and preserve my life according to Your covenant, in Jesus’ name.
