Exhortation :
Honour is a covenant key that unlocks long life and well-being. God commands us to honor our father and mother, and it comes with a promise of longevity. Honour is not optional—it is a divine principle with lasting rewards.
When you practice honour, you align with God’s order and invite His blessings. Honour creates peace, stability, and favor in your life. It extends beyond parents to leaders, elders, and ultimately to God Himself (Romans 13:7).
Dishonour brings consequences, but honour attracts preservation. It positions you under grace and opens doors that strength alone cannot open. A life of honour reflects humility and understanding of divine order (1 Peter 2:17).
Make honour your lifestyle in words, actions, and attitude. Treat others with dignity and respect as instructed by God. As you walk in honour, you secure your place in the covenant of long life.
Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to walk in honour toward You and others; let my life attract Your blessings and longevity, in Jesus’ name.
