Work Out Your Salvation (5)

Date: Thursday, 23rd July, 2026

Text: Hebrews 10:25

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Working out your salvation requires intentional spiritual positioning. Deliberately place yourself in an environment that nurtures your relationship with God. The Bible admonishes us not to forsake the assembling of believers (Hebrews 10:25), because fellowship strengthens our faith, encourages perseverance, and helps us remain steadfast in our Christian walk.

God designed believers to grow in community, not in isolation. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Through sound teaching, fellowship, prayer, and mutual accountability, we are encouraged, corrected, and strengthened to overcome the challenges of daily living.

Whenever you find yourself in a new school, workplace, city, or country, never hide your Christian identity. Let people know whose you are by your conduct, speech, and lifestyle. Seek out a Bible-believing church, remain accountable to mature spiritual leaders, and cultivate relationships that will help you grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ.

Prayer Nugget: Father, surround me with godly relationships and faithful spiritual mentors who will encourage me to grow in Christ, and finish my Christian race faithfully, in Jesus’ name.

Bible in One Year: Isaiah 29–31
