Text : Revelation 2:12–16
Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan
Exhortation :
The church in Pergamos lived in a morally corrupt environment yet held on to Christ. Today, believers also live in a world filled with moral compromise, misinformation, and pressure to conform. Standing for truth is more challenging than ever.
There is increasing pressure to dilute convictions in order to fit in or avoid criticism. However, partial obedience and compromise weaken your spiritual authority. Truth must not be adjusted to suit culture (Romans 12:2).
God calls you to stand firm in His Word without blending truth with error. Your beliefs must be rooted in Scripture, not influenced by trends or popular opinions (2 Timothy 4:3–4).
Choose conviction over convenience. Even if you stand alone, stand with God. When you remain grounded in truth, you walk in clarity, authority, and divine approval.
Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to stand firm in truth; keep me from compromise and establish me in Your Word, in Jesus’ name.
Bible in One Year : 2 Chronicles 25–28
