Exhortation :
Children are a precious gift from God, not a burden or an accident. Scripture clearly declares that they are the heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward. This means every child carries divine value and purpose, and must be treated with honor and care (Genesis 33:5).
As we approach Children’s Day, parents must recognize that parenting is a sacred responsibility. God entrusts children into your hands not just to raise, but to guide, nurture, and shape for His purpose. You are a steward of lives that will impact the future (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
The Bible compares children to arrows in the hands of a mighty man. Arrows must be carefully shaped, directed, and released with precision. In the same way, children must be trained, disciplined, and guided intentionally so they can fulfill their destinies (Proverbs 22:6).
A home that raises godly children is a blessed one. When children are properly nurtured, they grow to become voices of strength and influence in society. Invest time, love, prayer, and godly instruction into them, and they will bring honor and joy to your life (Ephesians 6:4).
Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to raise children in Your way; grant me wisdom, patience, and grace to nurture them into fulfilling their divine purpose, in Jesus’ name.
