Text : Proverbs 23:7
Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan
Exhortation :
As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). Your life will always move in the direction of your dominant thoughts. When you allow fear, doubt, and past failures to control your thinking, you unconsciously build walls around your destiny. But when your heart is filled with faith and possibility, you step into the limitless capacity that God has placed within you, for with God, nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).
God never designed you to live a restricted life. The same God who created the heavens and the earth first conceived them in His divine mind before speaking them into existence. In the same way, every vision, dream, and idea God drops in your heart is a seed of greatness. The scripture reminds us that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), showing that your imagination is only a starting point for what God can accomplish.
Many people limit themselves because they are waiting for someone else to go first. But God is often looking for pioneers—people who will dare to believe Him beyond what has been done before. Jesus said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23). If it has never been done, it may be because you are the one chosen to do it. You can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth you (Philippians 4:13).
Do not kill the ideas God has given you through fear, procrastination, or self-doubt. Nurture them with faith, prayer, and action. Remember, it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). When God is for you, no limitation can stand against you (Romans 8:31). Refuse to limit yourself—God has already made provision for your expansion.
Prayer Nugget : Lord, enlarge my capacity to think, believe, and act according to Your will. Help me to break every limitation in my mind and step boldly into the purpose You have ordained for me.
Bible in One Year : Job 39–42
