Exhortation :
Children are a gift from God, and parenting is a divine assignment that requires wisdom, grace, and intentionality. As we reflect on God’s faithfulness, it is important to commit our children, families, and expectations into His hands through prayer. God remains the giver of children and the sustainer of every home.
These prayer points are designed to cover thanksgiving, children, parents, and those trusting God for the fruit of the womb. As you pray, believe that God hears and answers, and that He is able to perfect all that concerns you.
Prayer Nuggets
- Father, I thank You for the gift of life and for children; they are Your heritage and a blessing to families, in Jesus’ name (Psalm 127:3).
- Lord, thank You for every child You have entrusted into my care; I return all the glory to You, in Jesus’ name (James 1:17).
- Father, I commit all children into Your hands; preserve them from evil and guide them in the right path, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 54:13).
- Lord, let every child grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, in Jesus’ name (Luke 2:52).
- Father, grant parents wisdom, patience, and understanding to raise their children according to Your will, in Jesus’ name (Proverbs 22:6).
- Lord, help every parent to be a godly example and to nurture their children in love and discipline, in Jesus’ name (Ephesians 6:4).
- Father, for every child going astray, bring them back to the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 44:3–4).
- Lord, I pray for protection over children from harm, negative influences, and every plan of the enemy, in Jesus’ name (Psalm 121:7).
- Father, comfort every waiting mother; remove every sorrow and replace it with joy, in Jesus’ name (Psalm 113:9).
- Lord, remember every barren woman and open their wombs according to Your mercy, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 21:1).
- Father, strengthen the faith of those trusting You for children; let their hope not be cut off, in Jesus’ name (Romans 5:5).
- Lord, turn every waiting season into testimonies of joy and fulfillment, in Jesus’ name (1 Samuel 2:21).
