Text : Psalm 37:19

Exhortation :

Across every age, periods of difficulty and uncertainty have always existed. From the time of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, seasons of scarcity and testing were evident (Genesis 12:10; Genesis 26:1). The Bible makes it clear that such experiences are not new, so believers should not be unsettled when they arise (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

Even though challenging times are widespread, the outcome for the righteous is different. Those who place their confidence in God are upheld and provided for despite adverse conditions. They will not be disgraced in difficult seasons, and even in times of lack, they will have enough (Psalm 37:19; Psalm 125:1).

God’s covenant assures His people of sustenance and preservation. Throughout Scripture, He demonstrates His ability to meet needs supernaturally—whether through unending provision or His promise to supply according to His abundant riches (1 Kings 17:14–16; Philippians 4:19). While others struggle, God ensures His people are sustained.

Therefore, do not give in to worry because of present circumstances. Keep your focus on God and prioritize His kingdom, trusting Him as your provider and sustainer (Matthew 6:31–33). In the end, all things will fall into place for your good as you continue to abide in Him (Psalm 23:1; Romans 8:28).

Action Nugget : Choose to trust God daily regardless of economic conditions. Strengthen your faith through His Word and refuse fear—your provision is secured in Him.
