Exhortation:
The Bible gives us a glimpse of Heaven’s incomparable glory. “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying” (Revelation 21:4). Every pain, disappointment, grief, and suffering we experience in this present world will forever disappear in God’s presence.
John describes the heavenly city as one built with jasper walls, foundations adorned with precious stones, gates of pearl, and streets of pure gold like transparent glass (Revelation 21:18–21). Yet the greatest beauty of Heaven is not its splendour but the presence of God Himself. “The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it… the glory of God did lighten it” (Revelation 21:22–23).
Let the hope of Heaven shape the way you live today. Endure faithfully, pursue holiness, and keep your eyes fixed on Christ. The sufferings of this present life cannot compare with the eternal glory awaiting those who belong to Him.
Prayer Nugget: Father, let the hope of Heaven strengthen me to live faithfully every day. Keep my eyes fixed on Christ until I rejoice forever in Your glorious presence, in Jesus’ name.
