Exhortation :
It is one thing to read the Word of God and another thing to truly understand it. Understanding goes beyond mere reading—it involves believing and obeying what God has said. True comprehension comes when the Word becomes life to you (James 1:22).
The Holy Spirit is the One who gives illumination. Scripture says the entrance of God’s Word brings light and understanding. Without His help, the Word may remain just letters on a page (Psalm 119:130).
The Bible becomes a closed book to those who approach it intellectually without spiritual dependence. The letter alone cannot transform, but the Spirit reveals truth and makes it alive in your heart (1 Corinthians 2:12–14).
The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. When you engage the Word through the Holy Spirit, it produces transformation, direction, and power. Always seek His guidance as you study and live by the Word.
Prayer Nugget : Father, open my eyes by Your Spirit; grant me understanding of Your Word and help me to live by its truth, in Jesus’ name.
