Text : Ecclesiastes 7:9

Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation :

Anger often begins in the heart before it is expressed outwardly. Scripture warns us not to be quick in spirit to become angry. A guarded heart prevents anger from taking root (Proverbs 4:23).

Bitterness, offense, and resentment fuel anger. When these are not dealt with, they grow and eventually explode. Wisdom teaches you to deal with issues early (Hebrews 12:15).

A pure heart creates room for peace and stability. It allows you to respond rightly even when provoked. Guarding your heart is key to controlling anger.

Ask God to search your heart daily. Let Him remove every root of bitterness. A clean heart will always produce a calm spirit.

Prayer Nugget : Father, purify my heart; remove every root of anger and bitterness from within me, in Jesus’ name.

Bible in One Year : 1 Chronicles 20–23
