Exhortation:
Jesus Christ is the True Light who gives light to everyone who comes into the world (John 1:9). In a world filled with darkness, confusion, and deception, He alone reveals the truth that leads to life. Those who walk with Christ no longer stumble in darkness because His light illuminates their path (John 8:12).
The Word of God is both life and light. John declares, “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4). We cannot survive spiritually apart from God’s Word. Just as the body depends on food for strength, the soul depends on the living Word for direction, growth, and victory over sin.
Whenever believers neglect God’s Word, spiritual weakness and darkness gradually set in. But those who meditate on it daily enjoy divine wisdom and clear direction. As the psalmist declared, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). God’s Word exposes error, strengthens faith, and leads us safely through life’s journey.
Friend, remain connected to Christ, the True Light, and make His Word your daily companion. Let it shape your thoughts, guide your decisions, and direct your steps. As you walk in His light, you will experience His life, avoid the traps of darkness, and become a light to others.
Prayer Nugget: Father, let the light of Christ continually shine in my heart. Help me to live by Your Word every day, so that I may walk in Your truth and never stumble into darkness, in Jesus’ name.
