Exhortation :
God has not left you powerless in a world filled with unseen battles. Through Christ, you have been given authority over every force of darkness, and your position is one of victory, not defeat. You are more than a conqueror through Him that loves you (Romans 8:37).
However, authority that is not understood cannot be exercised. Many believers live below their privileges because they are unaware of what Christ has accomplished for them. Knowledge of your identity in Christ is what activates your dominion (Hosea 4:6).
When you stand firmly in your identity, you can resist the enemy and enforce God’s will in your life. The enemy only takes advantage of ignorance and fear, but when you submit to God and resist him, he is compelled to flee (James 4:7).
You are seated with Christ in a place of authority far above principalities and powers. Walk boldly in this reality and refuse to live intimidated. As you exercise your authority through faith, the Word, and prayer, you will consistently experience victory.
Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to walk boldly in the authority I have in Christ and to exercise it daily for victory, in Jesus’ name.
