Text: Isaiah 41:10
Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan
Exhortation:
Discouragement is one of the enemy’s subtle weapons against the soul. When hope is weakened, strength begins to fade, but the Lord specializes in lifting those who are bowed down (Psalm 146:8). God never ignores a discouraged heart; He steps in to restore courage and perspective.
Scripture records that David, surrounded by loss and pressure, found strength by encouraging himself in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6). He did not wait for circumstances to change before trusting God. True strength flows from an inner confidence in God’s faithfulness, not from external comfort.
God’s Word is a well of hope for weary hearts. Through the Scriptures, believers are reminded that God’s promises outlive present troubles (Romans 15:4). What God has spoken still stands, even when emotions suggest otherwise.
This year, make a conscious decision to reject discouragement. God is still working behind the scenes, ordering outcomes for your good (Isaiah 41:10). Your current season is not the end of your story—hope is alive in Christ.
Prayer Nugget: Father, please, strengthen my heart and restore my hope in every situation, in Jesus’ name.
