Exhortation:
Courage is essential for possessing the promises of God. The journey into a new year often brings unfamiliar paths and challenges, but God commands His people to be strong and courageous. Fear must be confronted and resisted, not entertained, because fear weakens faith and delays progress (Joshua 1:9).
God’s assurance of His abiding Presence is the source of true courage. He promises never to leave nor forsake His people, reminding us that we are never alone in any battle we face (Deuteronomy 31:6). Knowing that God is with you strengthens the heart and calms the mind.
Faith-filled courage silences intimidation and overcomes opposition. When the Lord is your light and salvation, there is no reason to be afraid (Psalm 27:1). God empowers those who trust Him, enabling them to face challenges with confidence and peace.
As this year unfolds and challenges arise, stand firm in faith. Remember that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He fights on your behalf (Exodus 14:14). When you trust God completely, courage replaces fear and victory becomes certain.
Prayer Nugget: Father, please,fill me with courage to face every challenge this year in Jesus name.
