Exhortation:
Every day of life presents choices that quietly shape destiny. Decisions, whether small or great, determine direction and outcomes. Scripture teaches that wisdom is essential for right living, and God invites us to ask Him for it freely (James 1:5). A life guided by wisdom is a life guided by God.
God is the source of true wisdom, and He gives generously to those who ask in faith. His wisdom saves us from avoidable errors and costly regrets, for “The Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding” (Proverbs 2:6). Divine wisdom sees beyond the present moment and considers eternal consequences.
A wise heart is patient, attentive, and teachable. It listens before acting and seeks counsel before making decisions. Scripture reminds us that safety and success are found in godly counsel (Proverbs 11:14). Wisdom values understanding over haste and discernment over impulse.
As you make decisions throughout this year, lean fully on God’s wisdom rather than personal experience alone. Wisdom sharpens direction and makes the journey smoother, preventing unnecessary struggle (Ecclesiastes 10:10). When God guides your decisions, your steps are secure and purposeful.
Prayer Nugget: Father, please, fill my heart with wisdom for every decision I make this year in Jesus name.
