Text: Mark 4:21

Exhortation:
Many believers carry God’s light but cover it with fear, compromise, or hesitation.
Jesus reminds us that a candle is not lit to be hidden, but to illuminate its surroundings.
Light fulfills its purpose only when it is visible and allowed to shine.
Often, comfort, shame, or people’s opinions become the basket over our light.
What God placed within us to bless others is hidden to avoid rejection or conflict.
Yet acceptance without obedience slowly silences our witness.
Jesus challenges us to remove whatever limits our impact and expression of faith.
As Scripture affirms, “Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel…?” (Mark 4:21).
Hidden light cannot guide anyone out of darkness.
Freedom begins when we choose obedience over fear and truth over convenience.
When the basket is removed, the light shines boldly and glorifies God.
This is the season to let your light be seen without apology.
Prayer Nugget: Father, please, help me remove every basket covering the light you placed in me in Jesus’ name.
