Exhortation :
Today is the third day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the third letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is A – Appreciation. Appreciation is the art of valuing what God has done, recognizing His hand, and responding with heartfelt thanksgiving. What you fail to appreciate, you may eventually lose.
It goes beyond words—appreciation is a posture of the heart. Many are quick to ask but slow to acknowledge, quick to desire more but slow to value what is already given. Appreciation turns ordinary blessings into extraordinary testimonies and keeps our hearts aligned with God’s goodness (Psalm 107:1).
Appreciation is the secret to multiplication. When you value what God has placed in your hands, you position yourself for increase. A thankful heart attracts divine favor, while an ungrateful spirit repels it. Appreciation is not based on abundance; it is a choice rooted in understanding God’s faithfulness.
Learn to pause and give thanks deliberately. Count your blessings, celebrate small victories, and acknowledge God in all things. As you cultivate a lifestyle of appreciation, you will discover that joy increases, contentment grows, and your life becomes a reflection of unending gratitude (Luke 17:17–18).
Prayer Nugget : Father, teach me to truly appreciate every blessing you have given me; help me to live with a grateful heart and never take your goodness for granted, in Jesus’ name.
