Exhortation

One purpose of tribulation is to teach believers dependence on God. Human strength often proves insufficient in the face of serious challenges. In such moments, believers learn to rely fully on divine help. As the Apostle Paul declared in 2 Corinthians 1:9, the trial he faced made him realize that he should not trust in himself but in God who raises the dead.

Tribulation humbles the heart and redirects confidence toward the Lord. Through such experiences, faith becomes deeper and more sincere. What appears as weakness often becomes the doorway through which believers encounter the power and faithfulness of God in a new and profound way.

When life flows smoothly, people may depend on their abilities and resources. But when storms arise, prayer becomes deeper and faith becomes stronger. Tribulation often pushes believers closer to God and reminds them that true help comes from Him. The Scripture assures us in Psalm 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Beloved, allow tribulation to draw you nearer to God rather than away from Him. Every trial is an opportunity to strengthen your trust in the Lord. As you rely on Him more deeply, you will experience His sustaining grace and unfailing power working in your life.

Prayer Nugget: Heavenly Father, please let your grace sustain us and your mighty hand deliver us from every trial in Jesus’ name.
