Text : Proverbs 3:5–6
Author : Pastor Adedeji Fadehan
Exhortation :
Today is the fourth day on our 9-day devotional journey, and we are exploring the fourth letter in the word GRATITUDE. Therefore, our theme is T – Trust. Gratitude is sustained when trust in God remains unshaken, even when life feels uncertain. Trust is the bridge between what you see and what God has promised.
Trusting God means relying on His wisdom above your understanding. It is choosing to believe His plan is good, even when the process is uncomfortable. When trust is in place, complaints fade and confidence rises, because you know God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
A grateful heart is rooted in trust. When you trust God, you give thanks not only for what He has done, but also for what He is yet to do. Trust transforms waiting into worship and uncertainty into expectation. It anchors your soul and keeps your focus on God’s faithfulness.
Choose today to trust Him completely. Lay aside fear, silence doubt, and hold on to His promises. As you trust God more deeply, your gratitude will grow more richly, and your life will reflect unshakable peace.
Prayer Nugget : Father, help me to trust you with all my heart; teach me to rely on your wisdom and not my understanding, and let my life be filled with gratitude in every season, in Jesus’ name.
Bible in One Year : 1 Kings 6–7
