Text: Proverbs 1:5

Exhortation:

Knowledge is the awareness and acquisition of facts, truth, and God’s principles—it is what you know through learning, experience, and His Word. It equips your mind to recognize opportunities, challenges, and spiritual realities. “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning” (Proverbs 1:5) reminds us that knowledge must be pursued continually to remain relevant.

Knowledge forms the foundation for growth, but without application it is incomplete. It is the raw material God gives to His children to develop insight, discernment, and strategy. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6) warns that neglecting knowledge can lead to failure and loss.

Knowledge alone cannot produce stability or purpose—it must be combined with understanding. When you actively acquire knowledge from God’s Word, life experiences, and godly counsel, you are preparing your mind to make wise choices. Knowledge opens doors and reveals possibilities, but does not guarantee success without comprehension.

Beloved, commit today to growing in knowledge. Study, learn, and listen to God daily, letting your mind be filled with the truth of His Word. Knowledge is the first step toward spiritual maturity, giving you clarity and insight to navigate life.

Prayer Nugget: Father, fill my mind with godly knowledge and help me to apply it in every area of my life in Jesus’ name.

Bible in One Year: 1 Samuel 4–7
