Exhortation:
Someone once said if you want to hide information from certain people, simply write it in a book- they won’t read it, even if the book is available free of charge. Another person also said, if you are not informed you will be deformed.
So many lives are deformed all over the world due to the lack of the right spiritual information. the Lord said. “My people perish because of the lack of knowledge (spiritual information locked up in his Word)- Hosea 4:6.
The Bible is available in both hard and soft copies to billions of souls worldwide. But how many people read it? Some don’t read it because they don’t understand the prophetic power of God loaded in it. They don’t realize that the word of God is God himself. Jesus Christ came to the Earth as the word of God personified in human flesh.
Today’s text says, “ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth-John 1:1-5; 14.
The devil has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they don’t see the need to access the privileged information loaded in the word of God-2 Corinthians 4:4. Many people travel several mountains and cross several seas in search of solution to their life problems when the solution lies in the closed book they refuse to open, read and study.
Some read the Bible but with the wrong motives- in order to find fault and criticize Christianity. Others read but get nothing because they approach the word of God casually as though they are reading newspapers.
In order to unlock the hidden treasures and discover the privileged information loaded in the word of God, you need to ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all truth and counsel you. He will interpret the word of God to you, reveal Christ and help you to unlock the truth that has been hidden for ages.
Prayer Nugget: Holy Spirit, as I set my heart to know more of Christ, please, I need you to regularly reveal the privileged information loaded in the word of God to me in Jesus name.
