Text: Daniel 6:3
Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan
Exhortation:
God’s grace empowers believers to rise above the ordinary and stand out with distinction. Scripture testifies that Daniel possessed an excellent spirit, which set him apart among his peers (Daniel 6:3). Excellence is not worldly pride; it is a kingdom culture that reflects God’s nature and brings glory to His name through our lives.
When the grace of God rests upon a person, ordinary efforts begin to produce extraordinary results. Paul acknowledged this truth when he said, “By the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Corinthians 15:10). Grace multiplies impact, removes unnecessary struggle, and causes results that human strength alone cannot achieve.
Excellence attracts favour, recognition, and divine promotion. Jesus taught that when our light shines, men see our good works and glorify the Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). God is glorified when His children excel with integrity, diligence, and godly character in all they do.
As you labour through this year, rely on grace rather than struggle. Promotion does not come from human connections but from God alone (Psalm 75:6–7). Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your heart and let His grace distinguish you, elevate your work, and cause you to excel in every assignment entrusted to you.
Prayer Nugget: Father, please, release grace upon me to excel in all I do this year in Jesus name.
