Discipline and Consistency

Date: Monday, 19th January 2026

Text: 1 Corinthians 9:27

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Great destinies are not built by chance but through discipline and consistent effort. The Apostle Paul spoke of bringing his body under discipline so that he would not lose focus or purpose (1 Corinthians 9:27). Discipline keeps vision clear and prevents distractions from derailing destiny.

God honours diligence and faithfulness, especially in small and seemingly insignificant things. Scripture teaches that those who are faithful in little will be entrusted with much (Luke 16:10). Small daily efforts, when done consistently, produce lasting and meaningful results over time.

A disciplined life creates room for growth, stability, and progress. God is a God of order, and He blesses those who live intentionally and responsibly (Proverbs 12:24). Where there is discipline, confusion is removed and productivity increases.

As you journey through this year, remain consistent in prayer, work, and obedience. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Your labour, when sustained with faith and discipline, will never be in vain.

Action Nugget: Identify one area where consistency is needed and commit to it.
