The Book of Remembrance (2)

Date: 3rd March, 2025

Text: Malachi 3:16-18

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Today’s text says, “Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name. “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.” Malachi 3:16-18

The fear of God, consistent obedience to his will and faithful service in his kingdom are factors that provoke the Most High to open the Book of Remembrance for his own people.

Formerly closed doors are forced open and no man is able to shut it. When Rachel seemed to have been forgotten, she could not conceive. All her efforts to do so proved abortive. She was not sterile and neither was Jacob her husband infertile. Medically she was okay but pregnancy could not just come. Beyond any reasonable human explanation she just could not conceive.

However, when God remembered her, her prayers were answered and her reproach taken away. Her womb was miraculously opened and for the first time in her life she conceived and gave birth to Prime Minister Joseph who became the famine savior of the then known world- Genesis 30:22-24.

This season, the Lord will open a Book of Remembrance concerning you and turn your fruitlessness to fruitfulness in Jesus name.

Action Nugget: Ask God to open the Book of Remembrance concerning you and your case will end in testimony in Jesus name.

Bible in One Year: Deuteronomy 30-32.

The Book of Remembrance

Date: 2nd March, 2025

Text: Esther 6:1-12

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

When God remembers a man, his long awaited lifting becomes actualized. Delays are terminated, barrenness turns to fruitfulness and obscurity turns to limelight. God cannot remember you and your helpers forget you. Rather, he will touch the heart of kings and those that matter to see to your matter. Those that have despised you will be forced to bow down to you.

Mordecai was just a gateman in the king’s palace. He seemed irrelevant like a worm that could easily be crushed. However, he had done a favour to the king of the land by exposing two door keepers, traitors who had conspired to assassinate the King Ahasuerus.-Esther 6:2.

His favour to the king was recorded but not rewarded. But when God remembered him, the king could not sleep and was influenced by the spirit of God to request for the Book of Remembrance. Thus Mordecai’s labour of love was recalled and rewarded.

God clothed Mordecai with the garment of glory and honour and humiliated his enemy, Haman who hurried home with his head buried in shame- Esther 6:12-14.

I pray for you that in this month of March, God will cause a Book of Remembrance to be opened in your favour; and compel your helpers to favour you in Jesus name.

Prayer Nugget: Father, this new month, please open the Book Of Remembrance in my favour in Jesus name.

You Are An Overcomer

Date: 1st March, 2025

Text: John 16:33

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Happy New Month friends! Welcome to the third month of the year.

It is God’s desire that you reign over situations and circumstances. The tides may be rough and the storms boisterous but with Jesus Christ in your ship, you have no cause for alarm because you are a victor and not a victim.

In this month of March you will rule and reign over any storms or trials confronting you in Jesus name. In John 16:33 the word of God says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

You are an overcomer through the word of God and through the Blood of the Lamb- Revelation 12:11. In this new month, engage the power of the blood and his word of power. Your testimony shall be permanent and your joy shall be full in Jesus name.

Let us pray!

Prayer Nuggets

  1. Thank you Father for bringing me and my loved ones into this brand new month.
  2. Thank you Lord for all the victories and testimonies of the past months and years in Jesus name.
  3. Father, I ask for your mercy and forgiveness in any area I have been unfaithful to your word and will in Jesus name.
  4. I plead the blood of Jesus over every situation and circumstance of my life in this new month.
  5. Let the fire of God go before me into this new month and consume my enemies round about in Jesus name.
  6. I decree that throughout this month, i am victor and not a victim in Jesus name.
  7. All things living and non-living; visible and invisible will cooperate together to actualize my lifting in Jesus

Behold, I Come Quickly

Date: Friday, 28th February, 2025

Text: Revelation 22:10-12

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Our actions whether good or evil, are like seeds that are sown in a field. The same day you sow is not the same day you reap. Sometime must surely pass before the harvest. Some people think that because the consequences of their action do not happen immediately, they assume they have gotten away with it.

The word of God says, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” Ecclesiastes 8:11. But when their cup is full they hammer of God’s judgment will fall on their heads. Don’t wait until this happens. Repent and be converted before it is too late.

Some other people think that because their good works are not rewarded immediately, God has forgotten them. It is not true. God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him- Hebrews 11:6b. He will not be unfaithful to forget your labour of love.

Cornelius had been given alms to the poor and helping the needy for many years and it seemed everything was unnoticed but when his cup of blessing was full God sent a heavenly messenger to visit him at 3pm on a certain day and he said, “Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter.” Acts 10:4b-5

His destiny helper was Peter. When Peter came, he explained the way of God to him more adequately and he was saved alongside his family were baptized with the Holy Spirit and in the water. He got a harvest of heavenly gift that money cannot buy; not only him but he and his household.

Those sacrifices you are making for God’s kingdom are not going unnoticed. The word of God says, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”Revelation 22:11-12

Action Nugget: Sow the seeds of obedience to God’s will and you will reap the harvest of god’s showers of blessings. The opposite is also true. Choose wisely!

You are not alone

Date: Thursday, 27th February, 2025

Text: Psalm 23:1-6

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we are in desperate need of help. At such times help may seem to be nowhere around. God seem to be far away but the truth is that he is nearer than we think. His name is Yahweh Shammah which means the Lord Is There.

David said, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me…” Psalm 23:4a.

If you are in Christ, rest assured that you may feel lonely but the truth is that you are not alone. Praise him for his presence and worship his majesty. Don’t entertain any fear. He is in your boat able and willing to calm all storms.

He cares for you and has promised to never leave nor forsake you. He is with you to answer your prayers and to defend and to fight for you.

Some may trust in their chariots (connections, status, qualifications, power, wealth etc) but we will trust in the one who is able to do the impossible.

Therefore, remain steadfast and unmovable. Let your heart be fixed on him and you will not be put to shame in Jesus name. If you are reading this message and you are not yet under the management of the Lord Jesus Christ, you need not delay further. Repent today, believe the gospel and confess Christ as Lord and you too will join the winning family of God.

Prayer Nugget: Father, I thank you that you are with me in all situations in Jesus name.

Handling Rejection (3)

Date: Wednesday, 26th February, 2025

 Text: Psalm 118:22-23

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Joseph’s father loved him so much because he was a son born in his old age and also because he found special favour with God. However, his own brothers envied him and tried to eliminate him. The word of God says he was cast into a pit and then sold into slavery-Genesis 37:18-36.

Rejection is more painful if it comes from your loved ones. He pleaded for mercy from his brothers but they would not listen to him. You can imagine what would be going on in Joseph’s mind when all these were happening to him. He would have remembered his late mother and his old father.

He probably would have cried to God for a rescue but the situation went from bad to worse. When we sometimes face things like this we would have thought God has abandoned us. However the word of God says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

Joseph held fast to his relationship with God and he continued to enjoy divine favour even in the midst of his trials.  Eventually, the stone which the builders refused became the head stone of the corner- Psalm 118:22-23.

Those who rejected him later came to bow to him and beg him for food.

Have you faced any form of rejection? Please, hold fast unto your love with the Lord and all things will eventually work for your good in Jesus name.

Prayer Nugget: Father, let all things work together for my good because I love you in Jesus name.

Bible in One Year: Deuteronomy 12-19

Handling Rejection (2)

Date: Monday, 24th February, 2025

 Text: 2 Samuel 17:23.

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

King David had a special adviser, named Ahithophel whose counsel worked as if it were the very word of God. David always accepted his counsel because they always worked. So the adviser was not used to his counsel being rejected.

However, on a particular occasion his counsel was rejected by Absalom, David’s rebellious son who reigned temporarily as king. Out of arrogance, when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, got to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died- 2 Samuel 17:23.

Wisdom and patience are needed when faced with any form of rejection. Most successful people in the world today have faced rejection at some point or the other in their lives and today they have success stories to tell.

The fact that your visa application to your desired country was declined does not mean your end has come; God has a better idea and plan for your life. Sometimes, rejection may be God’s way of ordering your steps. If you are rejected somewhere try elsewhere. If a door closes another door (a better one) would be opened by God for you elsewhere. The Lord Jesus said, “When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another…”  Matthew 10:23a. Prayerfully re-strategize and you will be highly favoured in Jesus name.

Prayer nugget: Father, every where I have been rejected please, open a greater door for me in Jesus name.

Handling Rejection

Date: Sunday, 23rd February, 2025

Text: John 3:19-21

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

When your person or idea is not accepted, you have tasted what it means to be rejected. Rejection is more painful if it is coming from your family or loved ones. However, the fact that you or your idea was rejected does not make you or your idea evil.

If you understand today’s text, you will have a clearer understanding of rejection and know how to handle it.

The word of God says, “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God- John 3:19-21

Darkness can reject light out of the fear of being discovered and judged. The rejection does not make the light bad. Instinctively, when a man in darkness suddenly finds himself exposed to a bright light, he would quickly want to cover his face, rejecting the sudden beam of light. It doesn’t make the light evil. So stop taking your rejections to heart.

Our Lord Jesus Christ was a man familiar with rejection. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces, he was despised, and he was held in low esteem- Isaiah 53:3.

When you are rejected by men, don’t let it discourage or demoralize you and don’t lose your focus. If you are under the lordship of Jesus Christ, you too will overcome as Christ overcome in Jesus name.

Key Nugget: The fact that you or your idea was rejected does not make you or your idea evil. Don’t take it to heart.
