Exhortation:
Marriage is God’s idea. It is an institution divinely ordained by the Almighty to solve the problem of loneliness (Genesis 2:18; 24) and to ensure procreation and continuity of the human race- (Genesis 1:28). Apart from that marriage is ordained by God to solve the problem of immorality, lack of self control, fornication and adultery-1 Corinthians 7:1-6.
Marriage is ordained by God to be between a male and a female and not between homosexuals and lesbians- Genesis 2:24. Any so called marriage between same sex couples is abominable, unscriptural and against the original plan of God. Can you imagine mating going on among same sex animals? You can’t see such because it is against nature as God designed it.
His plan for marriage is great but the enemy is seriously against the glorious institution. The joy and harmony in marriage are a threat to Satan’s kingdom because where there is love and unity there the blessing of God dwells- Psalm 133:1-3.
One of the reasons why God hates divorce is because it frustrates his plans for mankind and negatively affects the children caught in between- Malachi 2:14-16.
Can you now see why the devil does everything possible to break down the institution of marriage?

Prayer Nuggets
- Father, thank you for your purpose for the institution of marriage in Jesus name.
- Thank you Father, for all male and female married couples in the world.
- I nullify every plan of the devil against marriage in the world and in my own life in Jesus name.
- Father let your mercy prevail over every troubled marriage in Jesus name.
- Prince of Peace let your peace reign over every stormy home and marriage in Jesus name.
