Hearing God Clearly

Date: Tuesday, 27th January, 2026

Text: John 10:27

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

God is not silent; He still speaks to His people. Jesus assures us that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27). Hearing God clearly brings direction, confidence, and peace, especially in seasons of decision and transition.

Many times, the challenge is not God’s silence but the noise around and within us. A restless and crowded heart struggles to discern divine instructions. God invites us to be still, because stillness sharpens spiritual sensitivity (Psalm 46:10).

God speaks consistently through His Word and confirms His voice by His Spirit. His guidance aligns with Scripture and never contradicts His nature (Isaiah 30:21). When you stay rooted in the Word, you become more accurate in recognizing His voice.

As you journey through this year, deliberately tune your heart to God. Yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, for those led by Him are truly God’s children (Romans 8:14). Clear guidance is your inheritance as you walk closely with Him.

Action Nugget: Deliberately silencedistractions around and within you to be able to hear God clearly.

Bible in One Year: Exodus 38-40
