Text: Psalm 103:1-5
Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan
Exhortation:
Sometimes you have done all you know how to do and yet you are not able to achieve what you desire. May be you have prayed, fasted, attended special prayer meetings, quoted all known scriptures and yet you still get no desired results. You even spend hours staying awake and crying to God in the night but still you don’t get what you desire.
Do you then give up? Certainly not. When all fails there is still something to do. David the sweet psalmist of Israel was unusually victorious because he understood the power of this spiritual phenomenon.
In Psalm 103:1-2, david said, “ Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” Again in Psalm 34 vs 1, David, said, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
When you have tried all other steps of faith and achieve no results resort to the praise key. It opens heavens doors. The word of God says, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name- Psalm 100:4-5.
If you pray amiss, you can’t praise amiss. God inhabits the praises of his people. Try praise; praise God with all your heart. Abandone yourself in his presence and praise him intensely. His presence will come down and your case will be settled in Jesus name.
Key Nugget: If you pray amiss, you can’t praise amiss.
