The Set Time

Date: Monday, 6th January, 2025

Text:  Psalm 102:13

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

God is highly organized and he works based on his schedule or timetable. He has set a time for everything. The word of God says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;a time to weep, and a time to laugh.

“A time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Everything is right on schedule. Fruits come out in their seasons. When it is the season for a fruit, you easily find a lot of them at affordable prices. He makes everything beautiful in his time.(Ecclesiastes 3:11a).

Hannah had been going to Shiloh for many years but got no result until her time came in God’s calendar. The Spirit of God inspired her to change her prayer request, making a solemn vow in the process. 1 Samuel: 1-20.

When a man’s time is fully come God arises on behalf of that fellow and shows mercy. He then singles out that person for favour- Psalm 102:13.

In this New Year, your time of favour has come. May the Lord arise on your behalf, show you compassion and uncommon favour in Jesus Name.

Prayer Nugget: Father, my set time has come; please have mercy on me. In this New Year arise on my behalf and favour me in Jesus name

Gratitude for Altitude

Date: Sunday, 5th January, 2025

Text:  Psalm 34:1-3

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

Today is the very first Sunday in the New Year. Glory be to God in the highest. The will of God in Christ Jesus for us is to give thanks to him in all circumstances- 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We are to always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ-Ephesians 5:20

David, the Sweet Psalmist of Israel said, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:1-3

We are commanded not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving to present our requests to God. Philippians 4:6-7

One of the springboards to a great altitude this year is your attitude of gratitude. Let us pray!

Prayer Nuggets

  1. Father, I worship you for who you are.
  2. Father, for all your faithfulness in the past I worship you.
  3. Thank you Father for your divine interventions, miracles, signs and wonders in my life.
  4. Thank you Most High for the past victories and testimonies in my life,
  5. I thank you Father for bringing me into this year.
  6. Lord Jesus thank you for what you are doing in my life at the moment.
  7. I am grateful Father for your beautiful plans for me this year.

Fresh Infilling Of The Holy Spirit

Date: Saturday, 4th January, 2025

Text:  Joel 2:28-29

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

We are clearly in the Last Days and the devil is playing his last set of evil cards because he knows that his time. The enemy of man’s soul has poured the spirit of coldness (doubt and outright unbelief) into the air. That is why you see so much apathy and disinterest in the things of God.

Souls that used to be hot for God are now guilty of what they used to preach against. They are like a dog that has returned to its vomit.

The enemy has equally poured the spirit of lukewarmness into the lives of so many. That is why you see so many souls having the form of godliness but lacking the power behind it. In other words outwardly they look religious but their conduct nullifies their claim of faith.

The spirit of lukewarmness is also the reason why we have a lot of half-baked Christians who are neither here nor there; they look half spiritual and half worldly. God is not pleased with such people. You should either be cold, that is, completely worldly so that God will see your sincerity and save your soul or be completely hot so that God can know you are on his side and can then use you to save others.

Enough of coldness or lukewarmness!

This year you need to ask God to fill you with his Holy Spirit so that there is no room for the flesh to show up at all.

The word of God promised us saying, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” Joel 2:28-29

Ask the Lord to fulfill his promise of this spiritual outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your life and this year you will never remain the same again.

Prayer Nugget: Father, please, fill me a fresh with your Holy Spirit; I will give no room for sin or the flesh in my life in Jesus name.

Reflect and Re-strategize

Date: Friday, 3rd January, 2025

Text:  Genesis 1:1-31

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

To reflect is to think deeply or carefully about something. It could also mean to review what you have done.

When God undertook the project of creating the Heavens and the Earth, he kept assessing and reassessing the situation from time to time. At his stage of the Creation Story, God did reflect on the works of his hands to determine areas that need perfection, if need be.

Between verses one and thirty one of the first chapter of Genesis, God reflected, assessed and re-assessed the project he was doing 7 times. On the seventh time the word of God says, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…” Genesis 1:31

God is perfect; he cannot make mistakes. His works don’t need any form of improvement. However, he reflected on his works to give us an example of the need to constantly reflect and re-strategize.

In Southwest Nigeria, where I hail from, the elders have a proverb which says, “When a youth stumbles and falls, he looks forward. Upon the fall of an elder, he looks back’. In other words, when a youth loses his balance and stumbles, his instinct is to look forward to where he wants to go and try to regain his footing. However, an elder often more concerned about the potential causes of his fall, might instinctively look back at the source of the stumble to assess the situation so as to prevent a recurrence.

Many people have remained on one spot because they keep doing things the same way without an attitude of reflection. When you think deeply and evaluate your situation, you will definitely spot an area that needs improvement.

You should not keep doing things the same way and expect a different result. Reflect and prayerfully re-plan and re-strategize. This year don’t be afraid to try new things; don’t shy away from exploring new territories and breaking new grounds; don’t hesitate to prayerfully try new methods. You will do great things this year in Jesus name.

Prayer Nugget: Father, I receive the spirit of prudence and excellence, I receive the grace to reflect, re-strategize and do exploits this year in Jesus name.

You Will Overtake Them All

Date: Thursday, 2nd January, 2025

Text:  1 Kings 18:41-46

Author: Pastor Adedeji Fadehan

Exhortation:

May be before now things have been so slow and you have experienced so much stagnancy and delay, I have got good news for you, this year God will grant you unusual speed in Jesus name.

According to today’s text, Elijah the prophet who walked on foot overtook Ahab a king who moved on a chariot. How is this ever possible? It is possible when the miracle working God is involved. With him all things are possible.

The Holy Scripture says, “And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”  1 Kings 18:46

The hand of God signifies power. It carries supernatural strength beyond human comprehension. When the hand of God is upon your life you become unstoppable. No demon in hell can stop or slow you down anymore.

When your journey is powered by the hand of God, you will gain unusual spiritual momentum and your movement will be extraordinarily fast. This will be your testimony this year in Jesus name.

However, just like Elijah, make sure you are on the Lord’s side, loving what he loves and hating what he hates and obeying him promptly. Continually ask the Lord to lay his victorious right hand on you and you will overtake kings.

Prayer Nugget: Father, please, lay your victorious right hand on my life and grant me unusual speed this year in Jesus name.
